The Maharashtrian community in India is  celebrating  ‘ Chhatrapati Shivaji Rajyabhisek’ on  Sunday

A day when Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was  crowned as king of Maharatha swaraj on 6 June 1674,
the event proved to be the watershed moment in Maratha history and
the beginning of Hindtuv Swarajya in India,

  It’s significant to know that on this day,

Shivaji  Maharaj was given the title of Shakakarta that
means the founder of an era in English and Chhatrapati
someone also called a paramount sovereign and also took
the title of  Haindtava Dharmorasharak means
the protector of the Hindu faith during the coronation ceremony in
Raigarh a the district currently shows in the Konkan division.
6 June
wide celebrated in Maharashtra, especially in the Raigad district where
locals organize a coronation ceremony for Shivaji Maharaj at Raigad fort.

A large count of devotees of Shivaji Maharaj from
outside the district also come to Raigad to witness the grand celebrations,
they wish each other coronation day, and offer wreaths to the statue of Shivaji Maharaj.
He was a great leader,
a kind-hearted, and very intelligent, and extraordinary person,
every once in India admires him
the story of Shivaji Maharaj means the man of greatness,

He was doing so many things for his motherland, and the peoples of India.

 

Yet, the state is batting the covid-19 pandemic this year, celebrations are
expected to be curtailed due to the social distancing norms and may lockdown in this time

Shivaji Maharaj has a very important contribution to the history of India,
he was crowned 347 years ago on June 6. There are many things related to his coronation that
makes an interesting account of the
circumstances

 

The history before the coronation of Shivaji Maharaj 


Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj established the Maratha Empire by defeating the powerful Mughals and
was the best warriors the whole country,
Shivaji Maharaj  was an independent ruler and his coronation was not even officiaL
the ruler of the empire, despite winning many battles, was not accepted as a king, 
if we study the life of Shivaji Maharaj  Raje
we find that most of the great achievement is before his coronation, born in 1930,
Shivaji  Maharaj started his series of attacks of war by occupying the Thorne fort,
at an early age and then snatched many areas from the Mughals in 1659, 
Shivaji Maharaj also fought with Adil shah’s army at the Pratap Garh fort in which he won.

The conquest of Pratap Garh,
Shivaji Maharaj  had entered into a treaty with the Mughals in Purandar,
under which he had to return many of his conquered areas to the Mughals,  
then he reached Agra, in 1966 to meet Aurangzeb where 
Shivaji Maharaj was taken along with his son Samabhaji,
could not stay in Aurangzeb’s captivity for long and
escaped the fruit basket on august 13.1666, then he reached Raigad.

 

 There were many Maratha Samanta who were not willing to consider

Shivaji Maharaj, to overcome all these problems
he decided to hold the coronation and
started preparing for the event several months in advance,
the orthodox brahmins of that time were not willing to consider to be a king Shivaji Maharaj,
Kshatriya caste could have made a king.

 

 Shivaji Maharaj came from the Bhosle community which the brahmins did not consider

Kshatriyas,
while Bhosle claims to be a descendant of the Sisodia family,

More than 50000 people said that to have attended the ceremony, those
who attended the coronation,
spent 4 months in Shivaji's abyss,
special envoys were
sent to Kashi to bring pandit gaga Bhatt was
followed the coronation ceremony of Shivaji Maharaj with full rituals and pomp. Which is still celebrated as a festival on this day in Maharashtra,
it was only after coronation that Shivaji Maharaj came to be Chhatrapati.

 

Today Samabhaji Chhatrapati,
the 13th direct descendant of Shivaji Maharaj  and the member of parliament,
